Brentwood is part of the City of Los Angeles, so projects go through LADBS plan-check. The Brentwood-Pacific Palisades Community Plan and the Baseline Hillside Ordinance both apply on most parcels, governing FAR, lot coverage, grading, and retaining walls. Hillside conditions trigger extra structural review and longer plan-check timelines, so we sequence our schematic work to absorb that without slowing the build.
