Hancock Park, Windsor Square, Windsor Village, and Larchmont Heights all fall within their own HPOZs, each with its own preservation plan. Almost any exterior alteration — windows, roofs, paint, fences, additions — requires Certificate of Appropriateness review. The HPOZ Boards meet monthly, so the design phase needs to align with their calendar. Plan-check is rigorous but predictable when the design respects the zone.
